Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering should you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.

there are a number of great plugins -just search ‘wordpress spam plugins’ and choose one!

Make sure you have your blog comments on edit rather than post right away so you or your staff can review.

    Hi Maria,

This video got me thinking so much that I’ve just spent the last couple of days putting together a PowerPoint presentation. I’m now in the process of chasing up a way to present to a crowd.

Thanks a million for the insight and idea to get me going for 2010. If you send me a postal address I’d like to send you a little gift.

    Thanks

San Juan Capistrano, California — where the swallows return every year after vacationing in Argentina for the winter. Crowds of people come to see the birds come back every year on March 19. It’s sort of a marriage between birds and people witnessing a big event.

Having lived a long time in Hawaii, I sure miss it during these long East Coast Winters. They should go to Hawaii. As far as I’m concerned it has the best weather in the world. Best island to just rest and relax and play in the ‘jungle’ or ocean – Kauai – that is where I vote for.

It should be Belize, then to San Francisco, then to Hawaii and then to Tokyo then to Hong Kong, Sidney, then to Greece then to Paris then to London then to New York and then…. If they’re representing the world they might as well go around it for their honeymoon! But if it has to be ONE place then Key West!

I strongly suspect it’s a small, relatively off-the-beaten-path location, so I’m putting my vote on Cape Sable Island, south of Nova Scotia, north of New York, which is an island populated only by wild horses. This translates into privacy for a honemooning couple, with only the sound of the waves and the enjoyment of observing the horses who get to live their lives uninterrupted by human wishes.)Lots of opportunity for moonlit picnics on the beach.

I reckon the honeymoon will be at the Galapagos Islands because you love being a part of nature. Your business name is Wildhorse Performance Marketing and you live in a ranch at Las Vegas. I believe you will spend your honeymoon in someplace tranquil and natural, somewhere you can enjoy each other’s company, explore the islands and observe the wildlife like the Blue Footed Boobies. Your life would be pretty full on most of the time, so getting away for some peace and quiet to enjoy nature and the islands would be very inspirational. Galapagos Islands would be the choice.

if that’s a place where people live the longest, it makes sense that twitter and facebook would go there on a honeymoon.

    why?

being real, being social, connecting with others from a place of authenticity will help us live longer, too, just like what we can do when we use a network like twitter and facebook.

Ok, lets see a “Virtual Bouquet” must mean a dream location, a virtual place where all your dreams and desires are filled. I for one would make Paris, Quito, London, Punta Cana, Rome, Athens my destinations. A dream vacation, a real Honey Moon. Just imagine going for some of the best food in the world and seeing some of the best architecture in the world just to top it off with incredible scenery and great weather. I can see it in my mind “Virtually” but you can be sure it’s on my Vision Board for the physical experience later.

    Thanks for the mental challenge!!

I’m also thinking Paris – but with a twist. As previously mentioned, Twitter and Facebook are a couple of cartoon-like “characters”.

So, Eurodisney (about an hour from Paris) is where the Honeymoon should be, with both day and night trips into La Ville-Lumière (The City of Light).

Oh, and that webinar was excellent. I snagged the package and will be digging in with both hands over the next few days. Looking forward to reporting my progress! Happy holidays!

I’ve always thought someone should throw an event in Podunk. While there are several of them, this Podunk seems to be the best (got it from Wikipedia)….

An area nine miles (14 km) south of Shattuck, Oklahoma (now a ghost town) in Ellis County

That one is such a ‘Podunk’ that you can’t even find it in Google maps. What a perfect place for a honeymoon!

Since Twitter and Facebook are so excited to have finally found each other, they will spend their honeymoon showing their worlds to each other.

Facebook wants dear Twitter to visit Facebook’s home in Palo Alto, California.

Twitter can’t wait to take Facebook to Twitter’s home in San Francisco.

Plus they are so busy, they just don’t have time to leave California right now, so the mini-honeymoon with a purpose will do for now.

Afternoon careful consideration I believe the honeymoon should be an adventure, just like we are getting ready to have!

First, they would go to Hawaii for the first part of the trip to stay the Four Seasons Resort in Maui ,kinda like the appetizer, then off to Fiji for a few days at the Mana Island Resort, after that move onto New Zealand for hiking and more relaxation before heading back home to start their new life together!

All courtesy of the new Social Media Revolution!
