What Will You Be Aspiring To in 2010? by Maria Gudelis

”Hey!

Live Your Life With Passion!Hi, Maria Gudelis here…

As 2009 draws close to an end, we often ponder how the year went and “How Can It Get Better Than This?“.

One of the things I like to reflect on is:

What is it that keeps you from obtaining the ultimate best out of life”...

Whether that be money and the business you are in, starting up or frankly, the relationships you are in…

The resounding three things that come to mind that HOLD you back like a heavy anchor tied to your feet, keeping you from reaching your goals…are:

1. Resentment

2. Fear

3. Revenge

What I mean quite simply is this, I get hundreds of emails per day and majority of them are positive or a raving testimonial/thank you, or a question on a “how to” that further their progress.

However, there is that 1-3% that want to give ‘constructive feedback’ or ??? that really astounds me…now getting advice on how to improve things is always welcome…

The thing that I am curious about is this, if one is trying to improve their financial situation, the amount of complaining and effort put into a long email or complaining to your friends, family….well – what does it bring you?

Does it bring you a solution?

NO

Does it bring you a euphoric feeling in your body like an Explosion of Endorphins after a great workout?

NO

Scientist and philosopher Buckminster Fuller said:

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

Hmmm…not let’s see,

30 minutes to complain VS 30 minutes to be ‘grateful’ for the life, friends health you have (the mere ability to read this blog post – thankfulness for having the acumen and eyesight to do that!)…

Energy flows where the attention goes…as they say!

Make it your goal to STOP focusing your attention on fear, resentment and revenge.

The simple result is that by moving forward to your own goals and always focusing on solutions, the end result will be far better off use of your time.

Think about it – what if that 30 minutes instead of being mad, sad or..whatever…what if you worked on getting a new client into your consulting business instead?

Whether that be via a phone call to a business owner, or a fed ex letter you send out with a complimentary novelty gift attached…, or meeting with a prospect…all those activities get you moving towards your business revenue goals.

So how about this for your focus and ’success principle’ to apply every day here on out:

Stop complaining and move forward with solutions!

If you need to wear an elastic band around your wrist and ’snap it’ everytime you complain -then do so!

Your life will change, your mindset will change, and even at a cellular level, your body both physically and spiritually will thank you for it!

In fact, the world will thank you for it because little by little we can effect change in the world simply by working on solutions rather than gravitating towards the negative or complaining energies out there!

Good luck and I wish you the most fantastic success both now and in the future!

And…

Hey Chris -I love it your words:
“When sometimes it seems as if we are in the winter in the tough times, Spring is just around the corner! We can learn help ourselves and those around us by helping solve problems! The only way to solve problems? find a solution that works!”
My best wishes to you and anyone reading this message for the best 2010 for YOU!

  2. Hey Maria

Great post, and I’d like to thank you for putting the Ultimate Cash System Challenge together for us this year. Best course I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve got the LOT.

If you run it again, please let affiliates know in advance. I know a number of people who could really benefit from what you teach.

    Best wishes for 2010,

    Rocky

Well Maria, 2010 is Suzie’s year for Living Large, thinking big, time ti be visible, noisy and make a true difference. I don’t like to be the mouse in the corner and I have been doing a bit of that. This year has been a year of really stepping into gratitude and love, also a year of completions. 2010 will be a powerful year, a year to shine

I like you help a hundred so they can help a hundred. Imagine if we did this with kids- the world would change:)
    Thanks for asking.
Wishing you a happy Christmas and abundance in 2010
I am sure we will meet too

Fantastic Words, Maria! I hope you got my email thanking you earlier today, you literally saved my keeping a client, and I am so grateful. You are changing lives with not just your advice & words, but also your QUICK actions. My Family is Eternally Grateful!

Great post Maria-one of my aspirations is to create a scalable consulting business via automation and outsourcing everything from site building, to writing, to telemarketing, etc.

Another is to finally launch howtoplayjazzguitar.com-make it profitable, and apply what I learn to other product launches-for myself and clients.

Money goals include making enough to buy my mom a nice house, and myself the red “dream guitar” you can see posted at the challenge site. (Also to outsource my sweeping and mopping!)

Maria, some things for that 1-3% (actually all of us) to ponder:

“Don’t bring your need to the marketplace, bring your skill. If you don’t feel well, tell your doctor, but not the marketplace. If you need money, go to the bank, but not the marketplace.”

“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.”

“You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.”

Tomorrow’s a new day and soon a New Year. Peace.

Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year, everybody!!

I just love this one, which I think was from you Maria (I know I’ve heard it about a month ago and now use it often) the ’some will, some won’t, so what, what’s next?!!’ – I don’t only apply it to prospects and cold calling, but to anything that goes against what I was aiming at – works really well :)

My 14-yr.old daughter is also starting to use it.

Hi, Maria! I, too, loved your post. What great advice to take into 2010… for all of us. Yes, there are some who tend to spend a lot time and energy complaining and/or being generally negative. But, each of us has our moments, don’t we?

We can all use a reminder now and then. So, thank you for that!

Speaking of reminders, here’s something that may serve as a powerful reminder…

I came across the research of Masaru Emoto, a creative and visionary Japanese researcher who has published a book called, “The Message from Water” from the findings of his worldwide research.

Here’s a website where you can read about his amazing work that shows how the energy from thoughts and words can have a huge impact on water molecules: http://www.life-enthusiast.com/twilight/research_emoto.htm

You can sign up for free videos there, too.

Here’s a quote from the webpage:

“If you have any doubt that your thoughts affect everything in, and around you, the information and photographs that are presented here, taken from the book of his published results, will change your mind and alter your beliefs, profoundly.”

My idea for a reminder of practicing positivity is to print out and keep handy, a copy of two water crystals… one after being exposed to negative words, and one from positive words.

Since our bodies are anywhere from 55 to 78% water, this info is huge for each of us!!!

Thanks again, Maria, for your insightful post today! You rock!!

    Great Words Maria!
When sometimes it seems as if we are in the winter in the tough times, Spring is just around the corner! We can learn help ourselves and those around us by helping solve problems! The only way to solve problems? find a solution that works!

It is written that it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles man, but what comes out of the mouth. I hope that this coming year, that only the positive praises and solutions will come forth, and that I will not be like that breed of dog (I’m a whiner). For we can only either be a Winner, or a whiner. If you are on this site, you must be a Winner! Winners Do and get going!

That is what I am doing in 2010, to help enough people get what they want, so I may be blessed with what I need and want to continue to grow

    Thank you Maria!

  11. I dig your aspiration maria. it’s awesome seeing people succeed and knowing you played a part in that, eh? :)

mine is to continue growing in compassion with others and facilitate growth in 100 people or more to be who they is :)

marie smith has a great thread going about this over on facebook. even if we see people who act in a way we don’t immediately appreciate, if we can look past that to who they really are, we might see them morph before our very eyes.

    thank you for sharing, maria.

    you are remarkable :)

  12. I loved your post! As we are coming to the end of one year and will be beginning a new one, your post was right on. If people focus on getting themselves where they need to mentally (mindset wise), it will take care of everything else (weight loss, finishing with smoking, making more money, etc). Thank you for sharing with all of us, Maria. Happy holidays to you and Rudy!

Go Ahead, I’d love to read your aspirations…shout them out to the world! Mine is to focus on positive results and change / help 100 people so they can EACH help 100 people themselves….

A contribution to getting out of the matrix, the box and making this moment a better moment!
