Maria Gudelis on The New Work Order

The May 2009 Issue of Time Magazine featured how the world has changed and how that impacts how we work. A quote directly from the article:
“Throw away the briefcase: you’re not going to the office. You can kiss your benefits goodbye too. And your new boss won’t look much like your old one. There’s no longer a ladder, and you may never get to retire, but there’s a world of opportunity if you figure out a new path.”
Me being the “glass is half full” kinda gal…I see a huge silver lining in the last part of the quote that was on the front cover of that May 25th Time Magazine article!
You see, we are truly on a new path in a world that changes every ten seconds and that is a good thing…the ability to collaborate to any corner of the world via the Internet opens the windows to lower cost labor, high intellectual teamwork, systems to manage your product life cycle…that you literally can create your own ‘lifestyle dashboard’ that fits what you want.
Maria Gudelis on Opportunities
There are so many new opportunities that almost every day yet another possibility shows up! Now is the best time to be an entrepreneur.
You are modern day Christopher Columbus in today’s environment!

Just 5 years ago it would have cost over $30,000 to get your company branded online and have a solid website, usp and full branding campaign implemented.
Today…it is a fraction of the cost or should I say “investment”.
It gets better you can use hundreds of FREE social media sites to brand yourself, find customers, build business communities. I remember in the year 2000 having to hire six figure executives to provide the same benefits that you can now get today with FREE social media sites…more sales!
The hardest part now is not lack of capital budget to market your company, the hardest part is to focus and craft the right social media strategy online!

Hey, most for taking the effort to do this. I like your niche site, while it took a sluggish reader like me some time to with around whole page and all the comments.
