So you find a cool real estate investor to invest your IRA with at 15% interest rate. Why not lend it out at 15% interest for only 3 months? If you invest $10,000, in 3 months you will get back your original $10,000 plus your $1,500 of interest. Then you re-invest it with another loan to that or another investor for the same terms…if you turn that same $10,000 four times in one year, you then have made 4 X $1,500 = $6,000 of interest which equals 60% Return on Investment!
