    Hey Maria,
What a great hockey player Kaz is getting to be!  Nice flip shot into the net!!  Kaz would love Mount Shasta with all our small ice rink lakes and the Zamboni cured and cared for big rink at the community park just bit down the road…
I bet that Kaz was a bit more animated with his pitch to to sales person and turned on all the charm he needed to get his goal in that case.  And, 90% of getting to that goal is to just ask for it!  Kaz scores where we adults are strapped with all kinds of analysis, worry about how we are perceived, etc.  Kids don't worry about NO…and we need to keep in mind that most of the time, "NO" means the person just doesn't K-N-O-W enough!
    Kathleen

Know Like Trust! Hey Kathleen, yes – you are right – we as adults do worry too much and think too much in the rear view mirror than keeping our eyes (and mind) forward…steering our own course to our destiny.

I think the big message to all of us "marketers" is to ask for what we want (are worth!) not what we think the client is willing to give us!!!  Your client/prospect is going to give you back the same amount of respect that you show for yourself!

The power of intention + the art of asking = Success.
Where there is a Kaz (will), there is a way.

too funny – you have to get your ‘gravatar’ over at wordpress.com – create an id and load up your gravatar specific to that email you use attached to that id – so when u post a wp comment – it knows automatically to upload your gravatar

Kids are awesome they have no fear in asking over and over and over until they the answer they want.
Its us parents that teach them to be afraid to ask ?!

no chance of any ice in our backyard here on the Gold Coast in Australia:-)  we had a swimming pool from all the rain the other day though!!  Great  video!  And, they do really sell fake cell phones, I'll have to get one for my little grandson.  Or… I might just wait until he asks.

It was a free cel phone – ones they use for ‘display’ they give away!

I live in GA and we could never have one in our back yards. One day it's 32 then the next it's 60. But it looks fun.

I have seen those backyard rinks in Alaska. We always had to go to local ponds when i lived in the mid west and sometimes we fell in as the ice was soft. But they were shallow and it was all good fun. But no backyard skating here in CA. Did see a holiday skating rink in SJ this year that was a circle with a sitting area in the middle accessed by a bridge. How weird.

now that is funny to skate in SF on ice! the fun part about backyard rinks is the flooding when the ‘warm’ winter day hits – and pray for no wind at night so in the morning…

..the ice is oh so smooth!
