In the Middle Ages…Many People Believed…

In the Middle Ages, many people believed that STARS were beams of light shining through the floor of heaven.

Today we know different but it goes to show you that when something NEW, or innovative comes along…it takes a while to 'catch' on…

But when it does…it's like a slapping yourself on the head and saying 'Of Course'!

…On a clear starry night…

More than 2,000 stars are visible to the naked eye.

Yet…There are 200 to 300 BILLION stars in the Milky Way galaxy!

Isn't that amazing! Hope you don't think it a "Boring Fact"..

Because it reminds me of our 'everyday' situations…that what is seen to the naked eye or…

Perhaps in your 'BELIEF SYSTEM'..

Versus reality…think about it – you can only see 2,000 stars but it is a scientific fact that there are BILLIONS of stars out there..

So there is no 'scarcity' of stars out there..

Canadian Cows on Twitter??

Check this out!! Now Canadian Cows are tweeting!

A University in Canada has set up a project where the resident cows there Tweet about their day.

The "Teat Tweet Dairy Diary" is an art project conceived by the Critical media lab at the University of Waterloo.

Cows are robotically milked at this high-tech University farm, and end up tweeting about it to the world. The farm has been equipped to automatically send messages to Twitter after the cows are milked and fed. Read the rest of this entry »
