You can also do this with black "chalkboard" paint. (More for people who have kids vs. a biz application but I just thought I'd toss it out there for those that made kid comments.)
Yay for science and innovation. :-)

Thanks Dr. Joseph!
That is a cool idea for ze kids!
That's a really good idea. I have four kids and they'd love to have something to draw on like that. We'd considered trying to paint a chalkboard paint on one of their walls, but I just can't stand chalk. Not sure dry erase markers would be much better, but it's a thought.
The video are not playing, anyone know what is up?
Thanks
I have a wall with your name on it girl. Next time you feel like relaxing with a brush you let me know — of course, your mom must be so proud of such an art piece!
Great job; Great Idea.

too funny! yes my mom will love it – a huge canvas to paint on!
You can also use magnetic paint primer to create a whiteboard that will also hold magnets.

Add some magnet tacks – http://www.kjmagnetics.com/categories.asp – and you can now stick stuff to your whiteboard.
that is so cool Brian — that’s a great idea.

What an awesome Idea! Maybe this is why I havent finished redoing my room (i thought it was just laziness) Love the makeshift studio equipment too, if it works, use it! You did a great job… Been thinking about doing videos, now Im inspired. THANKS!
How hard is it to remove? I want to use this stuff, but I don’t own my house.

You can easily put a coat of primer on it when you are ready to return back the normal paint to it -
so one coat of primer, then one or two coats of the regular paint – under $100 to return to landlord’s original wall.

ROFLMAO
