I have been an entrepreneur almost all my life, at the young age of 10 I started to deliver newspapers in the morning to earn money. I then bought stocks with that money when I was only 16 and then invested with my dad in my first real estate investment property at 20. After business school in university, I went to work for a few fortune 500 companies where I did business, financial and information technology consulting. I Started my own software company in 2000 and got it funded by a silicon valley company. In 2003, I took a 3 day real estate investment seminar and started real estate investing in Nevada, Florida, Arizona, Idaho, North Carolina etc. I am an expert in real estate investing, marketing, virtual real estate investing, ebay real estate (guest taught a $5,000 bootcamp “ "internet real estate" of Robert Allen's teaching hundreds of people how to buy and sell real estate online and leverage the power of eBay real estate. I am also an expert in finance as I used to work for a small venture capital company. It really says alot about you, for you to have worked so hard to figure all of this out on your own then just turn around and share it with all of us. I am just getting started on building web site and I found this blog by using a blog finding program so i can build links to my web site. But then i got to reading your information and it amazed me. Thanks for the tips. Being part of the world of business in not easy. There a lot of challenges that you have to face. You have to be prepared for whatever the outcome is and even project the worst scenario's. However hearing experiences from people who made it to the top is such an inspiration. Here’s one for Real Estate: After 24 hours of putting up a real estate client’s social media system (twitter/facebook/youtube) she got a $500k listing simply because her customer said “You are the first realtor in my area that seems to ‘get’ the Internet”
Another one – by using a combination of web 2.0 sites – sold a $170k listing in a bad market in 7 days…
You can google ‘real estate social media success stories and I’m sure you’ll find some good ones published by authority type sources (e.g. NY Times, etc.)
Hope that helped – I can’t reveal a ton of my own social media for realtors system since that is my unique system I haven’t published yet…
